“Teacher’s Path of Strength” — join our workshop

Working with children every day takes attentiveness, commitment and care for relationships. Having space to look after yourself matters just as much. That is why, as part of the “Green Connections Academy” project, we invite you to “Teacher’s Path of Strength” (Ścieżka mocy nauczyciela) — a two-day workshop devoted to the wellbeing of people working in nature-based education.

We will meet on 10–11 October 2026 at Leśna Baza Basia in Lublin. It is time to look at your own needs and boundaries, recognise the signals coming from your body and learn practices that help you cope with stress and prevent burnout.

During the workshop we will draw on body work, mindfulness and process-oriented psychology. Through exercises in pairs and dialogue circles, we will explore how to look after our own resources, respond in difficult situations and better understand our relationships with children, parents and the team. There will also be room to share experiences with people who know the everyday reality of forest schools and kindergartens.

The workshop will be led by Ewelina Łastawiecka and Jakub Ścieszka, founders of Leśna Baza Basia, who combine experience in nature-based education with training work and supporting adults. We will meet in a forest setting that invites you to pause, be mindful and find support in yourself and in your relationships with others.

Thanks to funding from the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 programme, participation is free of charge for members of the Federation of Forest Education Organisations. We also cover accommodation, meals and travel costs. It is one of the ways we support the development of the people who make up our Federation.
