Public awareness campaign
How do you show what education close to nature really is?
We are producing films for the Federation’s public awareness campaign. For two days, a film crew followed everyday life at one of the settings in our community.

The best way is not to describe it, but to show it as it is experienced every day. That is why we are creating films for the Federation of Forest Education Organisations’ public awareness campaign. They will introduce the idea of education close to nature and show what a childhood lived in relationship with nature can look like.

Filming took place over two days at one of the settings in the Federation’s community. The camera accompanied children in their daily activities and recorded conversations with the people who create places where nature is an important part of education.
The films are being produced by projekt.mamut, a social enterprise based in Suchedniów that specialises in telling stories about people, places and initiatives with social value.

We believe children’s everyday experiences offer the clearest account of why contact with nature matters for their development, and why it is worth creating the conditions for education close to nature to become available to more families.
We thank the children, parents, teachers and everyone involved in the filming for their openness and for helping to create this project.
The films are being produced through the Green Connections Academy project, co-funded by the European Union.
Premiere coming soon.
