Training
Good education starts with the educator
The Teacher’s Path to Strength is a two-day workshop on the wellbeing of people working in education close to nature, planned for autumn 2026.

Children need attentive, present and supportive adults. Developing education close to nature is therefore not only about creating new settings, but also about caring for the people who accompany children as they discover the world every day.
We will soon begin a training programme delivered through the Green Connections Academy project. One of its elements will be the Teacher’s Path to Strength, a two-day workshop dedicated to the wellbeing of people working in education close to nature, planned for autumn 2026.
Participants will develop skills that support their daily work. They will explore body-based practices, elements of mindfulness, dialogue circles, and tools that help them recognise their own needs, maintain healthy boundaries and prevent professional burnout.
The workshop will take place in a setting immersed in nature, creating space to pause, reflect and recover. We believe that by caring for the people who provide education close to nature, we strengthen the quality of children’s experiences and help build lasting change.
Further information and the registration form will be published soon.
